Part of the National unity we had during WWII was certainly the Rosie's who stepped way out there traditional comfort zone to do their part...not just to release men to fight...but in reality to do critical work to support the war effort. In so doing, they opened the closed door and established the role for women as equals of men in the workplace. That role continues to evolve and the WWII Rosies as well as all WWII women veterans led the way.
