A new printing of DC PHOTO BOOKS and  HONOR FLIGHT IMAGES  a small book covering the hubs in the past twenty years.  I am gifting several hundred copies to the the many lovely volunteers and supporters of Honor Flight hubs at the airports and around town.  They will sustain us in the Winter Months where the hubs are dormant.  I am planning on  isolating Honor Flight images and build a more graphic database.  I'm getting old in the tooth so am staying busy and trying to tie up those loose ends.

I've been updating the DC PHOTO BOOK  with every printing.  It is contemporary and priced appropriately and certainly encyclopedic.  I haven't had a chance to include the Desert Storm/Shield Memorial which opens in October but will hopefully get the opportunity to  include it in a fifth edition.  

You can order books through DCPHOTOBOOKS.COM.  It's a Shopify website which sends your order directly to the warehouse and you can a twenty percent discount as you check out using the code "Kilroy".  If you are ordering for a hub or a group, get in touch with me directly  I printed enough books for this year what I am thinking will be the last year. The CHERRY BLOSSOM postcard books, the DC PHOTO BOOK, and JEWEL OF THE MALL  are currently available. The books are featured and sold at the National Archives and Eastern National bookstores and in both the North and South kiosks around the Lincoln Memorial.  I have the good fortune to have my work both archived historically and used in contemporary publications by  the National Archives and sold in their bookstore. 

You can gift these evergreen books for  the price of a baseball cap and they serve as a reminder of your part in their special day in DC. It never rains in my books and the Memorials aren't under construction and the reflecting pool is reflecting. These books will keep the memory of your trip alive. The hardback edition is particularly elegant, shrink wrapped and arrive double boxed and labeled for inventory.

My warehouse is located just outside DC providing the brains, brawn and strategy!  They have indexed the client list for shipping and helped me set up the DC PHOTO BOOKS website and link it to the inventory.  They also have a truck and make deliveries to hotels and locations in DC where conventional carriers might not have access.  

I  can store sets of books for hubs who purchased for the year and ensure continuity in gifting and general operations.  As I mentioned in a recent email, I'm getting old and creaky (and cranky it's been hinted.)  And I am judging camera quality by weight in pounds rather than pixels.
